These terms apply when you use theprimalgear.com and when you buy from us. Please read them before you place an order: by placing an order, you accept them.
About us
theprimalgear.com is run by PRIMAL GEAR (PVT) LTD, a company registered in Sri Lanka (registration no. PV 00351801), of 20A, Nanda Mawatha, Nugegoda 10250, Sri Lanka. You can reach us at theprimalgear@gmail.com or +94 783 374 904.
Our products
We sell gym and powerlifting apparel and accessories. We do our best to describe and photograph every product accurately, but colours can look slightly different from screen to screen. Where a product has a size guide, please check it before you order.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR), shown as Rs. The delivery charge is shown at checkout, before you pay.
- You can pay online by Visa, Mastercard or American Express card, or with LANKAQR, through our payment provider OnePay. You can also pay cash on delivery.
- Online payments are processed securely by OnePay. We never see or store your card details.
- The price you pay is the one shown when you place your order. If we have listed a product at the wrong price by mistake, we’ll contact you before dispatch, and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Orders
- When you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was wrong or we suspect fraud. If we do, we’ll let you know and refund anything you’ve paid in full.
- You must be 18 or over to place an order.
- You can cancel an order free of charge before it’s dispatched, as explained in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Delivery
- We deliver within Sri Lanka only, by courier, to the address you give at checkout.
- Please make sure your address and phone number are correct, as the courier may call you to arrange delivery.
- If you pay cash on delivery, please have the full amount ready when your order arrives.
- If your order is late or doesn’t arrive, contact us and we’ll follow it up with the courier.
Returns and refunds
You can return or exchange items as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer under Sri Lankan law.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
Using this website
Please don’t use this website for anything unlawful, try to interfere with how it works or reach parts of it you’re not meant to, or copy its content for commercial use.
Intellectual property
The Primal Gear name and logo, our designs, product photos and the text on this website belong to PRIMAL GEAR (PVT) LTD or to those who license them to us. Please don’t use them without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
- Lifting belts, wrist wraps and lifting straps support your training; they don’t remove the risk of injury. Use them as intended and within your ability.
- As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for business losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Disputes
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first: we’ll do our best to put it right quickly and fairly. If we can’t resolve it together, you can refer it to the Consumer Affairs Authority of Sri Lanka or to the courts.
Governing law
These terms, and any order you place with us, are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. The courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
